Just curious ... the card is the four of cups, and they are the four golden cups in the sky above the woman's head. But the silver cup overturned on the grass is a fifth cup, not counted in the card designation.

It may be incidental, but do you see any significance in that?

I'm curious to know what others might say, but for me it's significance is that it's annoying! I think this may be the first time I've ever seen a card that lets a pip symbol show up in a way that the numbers don't match up properly. And odd that it happens in this deck, because Jackson draws on Pythagorean numerology as an inspiration here, so getting the numbers right would (you'd think) be important.

But maybe I'm missing some brilliant good reason to hide 5 cups in the 4 of Cups image. Thoughts, anyone?
