Oh look.. the Wheel... again...
This one has quite a dangerous look to it! A pair of lizards, one red and one white, are perched on an 8-spoked wooden wheel, eating each other's tail. The white one is at the top of the wheel, has wings and wears a white crown. The red one has spiney scales covering its back and heavier claws than the white one. Come to that, the white creatures face looks happy, while the red one looks miserable.
The Wheel is suspended in a clear blue sky in which the upper left shows a white cloud with a black center and three white stars, and rays emanating from the cloud (Air), the upper right shows a stormy grey cloud dripping with yod-shaped raindrops (WATER), the lower left shows a large pile of rocks and pebbles, and the lower right shows flames.
Very reminiscent of the World card, but here the elements are not safely in quadrants - they're in the raw and able to directly impact the Wheel and its passengers. The difference between this and the World is that here about all you can do is hang on and accept that even at life's highest moments, you still get rained on, and even at its lowest, there's warmth.
The overarching sense of this card though is that of there being no control, and a sense of discomfort and danger you have to just tolerate and deal with.
It's my youngest first day of school (sophomore year), and she missed the bus. It came 10 minutes earlier than expected. I'm curious to see if that's the only example of this card today.
